Symbology for Miles
While at the Seattle agency THINK, I participated in a pitch for the Alaska Airlines VISA® Credit Card & Mileage Plan. The concept was simple; show how using your VISA credit card bought you not only retail items, but miles. Win/win!
My idea was to take advantage of the symbology prevalent in travel—from airline route maps and mileage keys to airport signage. It had to be simple, familiar and to-the-point. These would be used in airport signage, direct mail and OOH media.
